Tulips and Persimmons is finished, but I must warn you that the computer digital image is a bit "brighter" color-wise - one of the side-effects of the light emitted by the computer. But it is still a very eye-popping painting with the palette of reds and purples.

Gale from Hewitt here. I mentioned to Dave the other day that i was taking a water color class and am now more in awe of your work than ever. Really helps me to see how you build your work in layers--that seems to be the hardest thing that i never realized with watercolor. I'm enjoying the class and will enjoy learning more about your approach here.
